Our Farm Event on August 26th will take you back in time and give you a once in a lifetime experience. It will be fun for the entire family. Please bring your children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors.

2:00-4:30 Open House

Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to experience life on the farm.
Includes farm tours, horse drawn hayrides, heritage displays and more.

5:00-7:00 4-Course Chef-prepared Meal with Wine Pairings

Tickets for this dinner are: $75/person- Includes Dinner and Paired Wine Tastings

Tickets are Selling Out Fast for Dinner

Join us for our annual Nelson Ranch Farm Dinner from 5:00-7:00. This four-course meal is a labor of love prepared by friends and family, headed up by Chef Karen Nelson. We feature Nelson Ranch beef and locally sourced produce from Calliope Farms and wine pairings from Stottle Winery for each course.

Chef Bio:

Karen Nelson, chef, caterer, and educator, is part of the 5th Generation of the Nelson family. A graduate of the Seattle Culinary Academy, she’s worked at many of Seattle’s best restaurants, including The Corson Building, Bar Sajor, Lark, The London Plane, Harvest Vine, and Hitchcox Deli. Recently, Karen joined the FareStart team. Fare Start provides job placement and training to disadvantaged people in the Seattle area. Karen is one of the catering instructors. She has also been part of catering teams led by chefs like Lisa Dupar and Traci Post, and has started her own catering company. Karen works with local Puget Sound area chefs to provide food education and special events.
